Drummer group “TAGO” from the Republic of Korea performed at the Riga City Festival on 18th and 19th of August 2018.
TAGO is a Korean traditional music group formed by young music artists, and it is based on the slogan, "We play for the brighter world". A variety of creative activities are performed with a strong base on traditional arts. TAGO also participated in the Edinburgh Festival and was honored five reputation stars in 2016. In 2015, TAGO have been designated as Seoul's professional art group.

TAGO means lighting up the world by beating drums, by the sounds of drums. New Korean artists, whose specialty is playing traditional instruments, have teamed up to create a beautiful and unique performance.
A variety of traditional Korean musical instruments — from gigantic drums to small percussion instruments — as well as martial arts elements are used in the show. Drummers play both traditional and contemporary compositions and their performance is complemented by expressive dancing full of acrobatic elements.
